We are happy to provide training to your staff on what they should and should not do in the event of an accident. If you have less than twenty vehicles, this will probably be conducted by telephone conference (using Skype with a Webcam if preferred). For larger fleets, we would prefer wherever possible to visit your premises for this purpose.
Whether your fleet has two vehicles or two thousand, Kaslers RTA is always available to help you either for a fixed fee or funded through legal expenses insurance on one of the schemes where Kaslers RTA are panel solicitors.
We can (if you wish) arrange for both hire of a similar vehicle to that which was damaged (at no additional cost to you in non-fault cases) and for the repairs to be undertaken by a reputable fleet management company – frequently on the basis that the repairs will be funded direct by the at-fault driver’s insurers – thus easing your cash flow.
CARBON FOOTPRINT FRIENDLY LAW
Kaslers Solicitors LLP is a low carbon footprint firm. Wherever possible in all departments of the firm, we maintain electronic files and encourage use of e-mail for correspondence, thus reducing paper consumption.
Whilst we have physically manned offices in both West Malling, Kent and Canary Wharf, London – most of our solicitor and practitioner staff work from wherever they happen to be – frequently at home – using our Intranet system. This saves considerably on travelling and office space.
We are always happy to meet clients in person at either office or at their places of work or elsewhere, but increasingly we are using modern technology such as Skype video conferencing.
WHERE YOUR DRIVER OR ANY PASSENGER IS INJURED
If you have an injured driver or employee, you will want to ensure that he or she has immediate legal assistance which ensures that any necessary treatment is provided immediately and (wherever possible) at no cost to the employee or you. This will have the benefit that their time of work is kept to a minimum and we can advise you how best to recover any wages paid during a period of absence (in non-fault claims).
We will always act for your injured employee on a No Win No Fee style arrangement so that they can rest assured that the value of the claim is not reduced by any legal fees.
NOTIFYING US ON THE DAY OF THE ACCIDENT
If we are dealing with your company regularly, we can achieve far more on your behalf if we are notified of the claim on the day of the accident when your driver’s memory of the incident is fresh. You can either use our standard accident report form or we can tailor one for your firm’s requirement, set up in a section only visible to your company.
